Today is a special day! It would have been my grandmothers 91st birthday. I was so very lucky to be able to know my grandmother as well as I did. I really started to develop a relationship with my grandmother in high school. I use to go over to my grandparents home and make them lunch and clean their house. Then my grandpa got sick and they came to live with us. I developed a close relationship with my grandmother and I am so thankful for those days and moments I got to know her better. This time of year always reminds me of her, first because its her birthday and secondly because she loved this time of year! So I’m dedicating this blog post of Americana inspiration to my beautiful grandmother!
