Glitter

What girl doesn’t like glittery things?  I love things that sparkle and shine!  Glitter to me resembles elegance and class.   As a woman, I like to look classy and elegant, it makes me feel good!  I think it is sad that in society today woman have lost the elegance and grace they once embodied 50 some years ago.  I think there is something to be said for the woman of 1940’s and 1950’s, don’t you?  That generation and era was not like any other!  There was a sense of pride for our country and woman and men came together during war and hard times.  More women came into the workforce in the 1940’s due to the war, but once the war was over most of the jobs went back to men.  Women stepped up to the plate, which I think is a great characteristic of an elegant woman.  I think the elegant woman would be coined as poised, humble, classy, well mannered, and beautiful on the inside and out.  In summary, I relate glitter to elegance and an elegant woman is more than diamonds, sparkly shoes and clothes; they must be beautiful on the inside, because in result is makes a beautiful outside!
