Good Morning! Happy Hump day lovelies! I hope you all have had a good week thus far. Sorry that I haven’t been posting as frequently as I would like, but between my hubby’s birthday and his surprise birthday party, this past week was very busy! Oh and I ran a 5k too, this past weekend, which was so much fun and for a great cause! I even shaved 2 minutes off my time! I was so excited to wear this outfit, because I have had this top in my closet for months and these pants I bought just before our cruise, and I haven’t worn either of them until now! I loved the bright colors, mixed with the jewel tones, I thought they looked so pretty together! Hope you enjoy!

It’s My Birthday!

I love Birthday’s! My mom always made such a big deal out of my birthday growing up, that now I look forward to my special day every year! She always made me feel so special and now she has passed that torch onto my husband! I started my morning in bed with a cup of coffee, while skimming the pages of Travel and Leisure while I waited on breakfast in bed! My husband never makes me coffee, but I swear he secretly watches me make it everyday, because the coffee was so good! My mom came and made be breakfast in bed and my husband and I lounged in bed eating and talking. Last year, my husband had to work on my birthday, but he dropped off flowers at my work and then told me to be at the spa by noon and he had scheduled me a massage and pedicure! This year I am lucky enough to spend the entire day with him! We plan to go to lunch with my family and then he is taking me shopping! YEAH!!! Last year, he took me shopping the day after my birthday and I had way too much fun in Forever 21! Well, its that time of year again…here’s to birthday shopping round 2! Cheers!

MLK Day

Happy Monday! It’s a holiday, yeah for a day off! I’m blessed to have this day off and its so nice to be able to relax at home with my hubby! Today, I am so excited to share with you this amazing dress I found for under $7.00! I was in Ross a couple weeks ago and I saw a navy dress hid underneath another dress and it had a clearance tag on it, for $6.45. What a SCORE!!! I love shirt dresses, plus the dress came with a belt (which I didn’t wear in these pics), I love the gold accents, the tuxedo stripe down the arms and that it has pockets. Its also long enough to wear to work and feel comfortable! I’ve only worn the dress once, but its already under construction, sort of speak. Due to my shorter legs, I thought this dress could use a slit on each side, that way it won’t look so boxy and you’ll actually be able to see my legs when I wear knee high boots! Did you see my new bag!?! The bag was a Christmas gift from my mom, which I haven’t been able to stop using, because its big with soft leather, came with a clutch inside and just perfect for me! Graffiti

Happy Saturday! Thursday night, my husband and I went on a date! First on the list for the night, was taking pictures. He of course is my photographer most of the time, so I had fun running around in front of graffiti art while he snapped pictures like the paparazzi! He always makes me laugh when he takes pictures and I always end up having a ton of silly shots, and I laugh again when I go to edit them too. Second, we went to one of my favorite restaurants downtown and had happy hour. Then we walked around through the shops and watched people ice skate on the outdoor rink. We had a lot of time to kill before the basketball game, but I sure had a lot of fun spending the evening with my best friend. This weekend I am going to be covered in drywall dust and paint, but I have the coolest interior design project I am working on, and I am so excited to share it with you! Have a fabulous weekend!

Hi Lovelies! I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving! I had so much fun hanging out with my family, eating great food and decorating for Christmas all weekend long! My husband and I spent hours this past weekend, decorating the exterior of our house with Christmas lights, the interior of the house is almost finished being transformed into a Winter Wonderland.
