Happy Saturday! This summer has been crazy busy, a lot of changes going on in my household, but I can’t sacrifice summer style for my crazy life! I am obsessed with velvet loafers and Gap has just come out with an affordable pair! I have way too many dresses, but they are perfect in this summer heat! A little splash of orange, in accessories, is always good for everyone! Have a fabulous weekend!

So Charming!

This weekend has been busy, emotional and productive all at the same time! Friday night I spent the evening with my mom. Her and I had never seen “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” – she had seen parts of it, but never all the way through. The first half of Saturday was very emotional. I watched Whitney Houston’s funeral all morning and my heart just ached. Then my mom and I spent the second half of the day cleaning my house. My house needed a deep cleaning and my mom was kind enough to help me. I cleaned my house to the music of Whitney Houston all evening, because FUSE was playing all of Whitney Houston’s music videos. It was so fun to listen to her old songs, because it reminded me of being a kid again. Anyways, this past week I received an email from Kate Spade telling me about her new home decor. I was so excited, because not only do I love Kate Spade purses, but I love her dishes too! These Charm dishes are just darling and I think they would make a perfect addition to my collection. I am currently crushing on these dishes! They are so girly and would make for a perfect girls dinner! You know what, I just may have the perfect excuse for a purchase like this! Wink, wink!

Kate Spade’s Digs

Have you seen Kate Spade’s home?!? It’s bananas! Not only do I love her purses, clothes and shoes, but her house is amazing! You know all the bright colors she uses in her fashion designs and the eclectic feel you get when she pairs all of her designs together, well that is just the way her home is set up too! I fell in love with these pictures when I was on Pinterest a few weeks ago, and I know a lot of people have been sharing them, but I couldn’t help but share them too. I have told you how much I love eclectic homes, and Kate and Andy have truly mastered it! They have stuff everywhere, I truly appreciate this sort of design, I can relate and their home speaks to my interior design senses! I love all the stacked books, herringbone floors, mixed fabrics and old and new furniture, added all together it totaling equals fabulous! I want to jump in and cozy up in their living room! What do you think of Kate and Andy Spade’s home? Is it too much or just right?

Vintage Sweater

Good Morning! Can you believe this week is almost over. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was saying that and now it is a week later. Those of you who have been following me know that these past two months have been crazy busy for me. I don’t think I ever told you why, but I was promoted and opened a retail store and my life has been extremely hectic. I love my new job and the people I get to be around everyday. God has truly blessed me and I feel so lucky. Unfortunately, my life hasn’t slowed down, which in many ways I love, and then others times I have big black circles under my eyes and I look a mess, because I am so tired! I am feeling good today, yesterday was pretty mellow and I was able to get up a run this morning, which always helps my day!

As for today, I am excited, because tonight I get to spend time with my nieces. There is a Fall Festival my mom and I are taking the girls to and I am looking forward to spending time with them! I will be sure to post pictures of our Fall Festival Adventure. My niece Tia is going to be a cat and Sienna is going to be a lady bug, they will be so adorable, I can’t wait to share our pics.

I am also excited to share with you some pics of an outfit I wore last week. I was so excited to wear my grandma’s sweater and mix vintage with new pieces! But I didn’t only mix the old with new, I also did some color blocking. These colors, bright green and Barbie pink, look so good together, don’t you think? I lot of times we think bright colors are only for summer, but this Fall you are going to be seeing more bright colors. Who doesn’t love a pop of pink or green? I love my Barbie Pink Kate Spade bag and I thought pairing it with my grandmas vintage bright green sweater was perfect and an extremely fun combo! Did you see my earrings? These were my moms and I remember seeing them in her jewelry box when I was a little girl, 80′s jewelry is so back, so dig through your mom’s old stuff, I am sure you will find some winners!
