Peach and Black

Hello lovelies!  I hope your all are having a great Holiday week, thus far!  I have been dying to wear this dress all year.  I purchased it in South Korea last April and when I came back to the States, it was way too hot to wear it!  I have been waiting for the cool weather to come to debut this adorable dress.  I love the geometric pattern and the peach color!  I paired it with textured tights and leather booties!  I seem to always wear pearls, and this necklace I used to play dress-up with when I was a kid, I love the chunkiness of the pearls!  Well, I have a packed day of decorating, baking and anything else I can squeeze into the day!

XO,

Rachel Ashley

Wow, this week went by fast!  This weekend my plans consist of continuing to clean an organize our new house, as well as attend a Polo Match!  I have never been to a polo match so I am super excited to go!  Of course, I am more excited for my outfit and the fashion than the horses, but does that surprise you?  I’ll be excited to share my Polo Match adventures with you this coming week!   Well, I hope you all have a lovely Saturday!

I’ll have a Black and Tan, please!

Who doesn’t like a black and tan, a drink that is?  But we all know I am not talking about  a blend of pale ale and a dark beer!   My whole outfit is black and tan, so I figured the name was fitting!  Happy Hump Day!  Today, doesn’t feel like a hump day to me, because I get to enjoy spending the evening with my husband celebrating our wedding anniversary!

Rachel Ashley

Pink and White Pinstripes

Well, Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you are surviving the heat!  Fourth of July is just around the corner and before we know it summer will be over.  But for those of us on the West coast we have a few more dreaded months of extreme heat!  The mornings are warm, but beautiful; nice enough to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee and read a magazine, but come 10am to about 5pm its HOT HOT HOT!  The only way to survive the heat is to hit the beach, jump in the pool, or stay inside!  Anywho, today’s outfit post features a few items I purchased in South Korea, pumps and capri pants I have never worn, my grandmothers necklace, with a touch of old school Hollywood glamour!  Enjoy!

Rachel Ashley

Current Kitchen Obsessions

Ever since I got back from South Korea I have been itching to make some creative and fun summer dishes.  I absolutely love to cook, it is truly an escape for me.  Even though South Korea served as an inspiration for new food ideas, a girl could always use a few more kitchen utensils to inspire her even more….wink, wink!  I received an email telling me about all these great sales yesterday…Ralph Lauren, Anthropologie, Shopbop and Yoox , and wouldn’t you know it?, I love all of these places!  But I absolutely love Anthropologie’s trinkets.  I could get lost in that store forever, its full of clothes, jewelry, shiny things, housewares, books and trinkets; all the things I love!  Because of my Internet trip over to Anthropologie’s website, I have now added a few more things to my wish list!  Those email marketing campaigns sure do get you; I guess they work, because people like me either buy right away (out of impulse) or add to their wish list.  I was a good girl today, out of self control, I merely added to my wishlist!  Anymore emails like this and they may get lucky, because its so much more fun to be a bad girl.

What’s on your wish list?  Any fun trinkets?  I would love for you to share, my list just might get longer if you do!

XO,

Rachel Ashley
